European Hockey Federation endorses Hockey GamePlanner V1 04/05/2010 The European Hockey Federation (EHF) is to provide top European coaches with
GamePlanner’s new coaching aid Hockey GamePlanner V1.
The EHF will provide nominated Coach seminar conductors, members of EHF Coaching Committee and the Coach Development Officer of each of EHF Member Associations with a copy of Hockey GamePlanner V1.
The new resource was launched at the recent EHF Youth Coaches seminar in
Hannover. 21 coaches received the software and their response was very positive.
"Thank you for this seminar. It has started a new urge within for coaching hockey. I
had so many new ideas from this seminar, by speaking with the other participants
and being introduced to GamePlanner. I just had my weekly club trainings here in
Denmark and I used Hockey GamePlanner. It worked 100% for me and the players
were delighted" – Martin Olsen.
Anne Ellis Chair of EHF Coaching Committee said "Hockey GamePlanner V1 is an
excellent tool for all levels of coach. We hope that this new coaching aid will be a
great benefit to many European coaches, especially in our developing nations where
coaching resources can be difficult to attain. With a common resource available to all
Members, coaches will have the opportunity to exchange experiences and we
anticipate that this will encourage the coaching community to develop vital links with
each other. This community will then have the opportunity to work with
GamePlanner in developing quality coaching resources specifically for hockey and
ultimately to improve the quality of coaching to our players, which is a main mission
of the EHF Coaching Committee."
Andrew Quick Director of GamePlanner said "GamePlanner is delighted to link with
the EHF. We will work closely with EHF Coaching Committee and all the EHF Member
Associations to ensure we further develop this resource to benefit coaches across
Europe".
